Week of February 29

Happy Leap Day!  Here are a few important reminders and a homework update for this week.

Community Service hours are due this Friday, March 4.  At this point in the year, you need a total of 8 hours to get a 3.0.  No picture = No credit.  Forms are on the News & Events page and if you have any questions, please see your homeroom teacher.

Trimester 2 ends on March 11 and the last day for Reassessments is March 8.  Which means, if you want to improve your grade, you should be filling out a reassessment ticket and turning it in ASAP!

With the snow day yesterday, things for Friday have been adjusted a bit.  Homework for Friday is as follows:

Week of February 22

This week I will be sending home the Interim 2 test as well as the answer sheets that go with them.  If you are not satisfied with your grade and you would like to reassess on specific standards--look at the standard summary portion of the report--please fill out a reassessment ticket and submit it to me at least 24 hours before you would like to retake a portion of the assessment.  This reassessment ticket works on ANY assessment (quiz, test, interim) that you are unhappy with and you may reassess on a standard as many times as you would like.

Homework for today is as follows:

4th ~ Finish the Chapter Review and STUDY!  You have a chapter 8 assessment tomorrow and will be allowed to use calculators.

5th~ Section 6.3 from your RPJ (page 129-132) You will have a quiz on Monday on sections 6.1-6.3

6th ~ Section 8.4 #'s 1, 2, 8-13, 15, 16.  You are allowed to use a calculator, but I want to see all your steps!  You will have a chapter 8 test on Monday.

Week of February 1

This week for homework, everyone should be studying.  We have our Interims this week and they cover lots of material, so prepare yourself by looking over notes, quizzes, test, reviews, etc.
